Police raced to Hotel Rafayel on Lombard Road in Battersea following reports of a fight at about 11.15pm last night.

When officers arrived they found seven people had been injured – including one casualty whose leg was broken.

He was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to a nearby hospital.

A member of staff told Mirror Online that an argument had broken out in one of the hotel’s function rooms.

Shortly afterwards, three people were arrested for attempted murder.

Five others were also apprehended for affray.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman told Daily Star Online: “It was reported that a vehicle had driven at a group of people as they exited a hotel nearby.
